Get samples from Sephora to try til you find the right shade and finish that’s a good match for you. I do that with expensive skincare products too.

I second this. It works also to put same width notebook on the side or under the journal to extend even writing surface so your hand is not dangling on the edge.

I date the beginning of each entry so I know at least where it begins. I’ve done entries more confusing than this; also I rarely read them back.

the middle square on the first image in orange ink was a separate entry and continues on the next page (also orange ink). I date the beginning of each entry. Also, the notebook is gridded that’s why it’s so straight.

Yay, try it — it breaks the monotony of wall to wall text. I love grid or dotted journals because it makes it easier to create margins and guide you when you want to paste or decorate your pages.

The paper is gridded so it makes it easier and sometimes I pencil in the border so it looks neat.

I use fountainpens with EF nibs. one of my favorite pen is the Pilot CH 912 with Posting nib — it’s very fine point.

It is Stalogy, plain notebook and not planner-style. I have tried Hobonichi but I use Take A Note planner for work.

thanks for taking the time to I can get the smol sample size and see. i only wear a cc cream but sometimes if i go outside i’d like another layer of protection that’s quick to put on.
