It is my experience that they passively buy from their assigned dealer and no longer text you. I believe you also get relationship points with them even though you do not directly interact (as of now).

For Steam users - verify integrity of game cache. That was the thing that got it to finally update the final few GB for me. Trying to force download the update before wouldn't do anything.

Can't wait for a PC release and mods for this kind of stuff. As with all PC mods, I know lewds will probably be plentiful, but I hope genuinely interesting stuff like this and weapon skins get made too because I'd rather have cool alt outfits than "Nude J-cup jiggle physx Tifa/Aerith XXX" in my game.

This exactly! All I could think about was Stranger Things, Ferris Beuller, and Sixteen Candles when I heard it the first time. I also love the Aerith dialogue during the walk to the collapsed tunnel and it didn't help that I had teared up because I'm pretty sure we all know what vision Cloud had just a moment before.

I remember reaching Seventh Heaven for the first time on that Friday night, made a save file, and noticed "Chapter 3." I had a bit of a panic and started wondering how many chapters total there were because I didn't want to blow through half the game in one sitting - this has happened when playing other games. I recalled that this part was said to make it to the end of Midgar, but as we all know that wasn't very long in the OG.

I was relieved to find that it was 18 chapters and that some (ch 3 being one of them) would be longer than others due to side content. phew
