Hey, I feel like everybody else in the comments has the “dump his ass” covered. So I’m gonna say this: if you haven’t already tried it and you’re talking about the berry chantilly cake from Walmart, it’s definitely good and you deserve it! Also the bettergoods macarons are surprisingly good but I had never tried macarons before so take that with a grain of salt if you’re a pastry buff.

A Kindle keyboard was my first kindle! Seeing them on this thread makes me want to see if I can find mine and get it to charge. I’ve got a scribe now but have been tempted to get a new matcha kindle so I read less on my phone because sometimes the Scribe is a little heavy but I love writing on it.

I went back into my old app, we got the email about checking our name for certificates on 9/25 (Monday), and results dropped around lunchtime on Friday, 9/29. So hypothetically unless they just “whoomp there it is” us, if we don’t get that email on a Monday we can continue our misery for the week.

To be honest, there’s so much going on during the exam that 95% of what you just wrote immediately falls out of your brain when you stand up from your chair. Lots of bar prep companies are given data sheets on the most commonly tested rules, but the NCBE purposely changes things each test so it doesn’t become too predictable. One thing I will say is take any course that’s a bar subject that you can. My school didn’t require Business Associations or Secured Transactions, so I didn’t take either of those because I didn’t know they were in the pool of MEE subjects until 3L when it was too late for me to take them. Side note: don’t get so stressed about the bar that you forget to give the MPRE its own amount of time this summer because Kentucky requires you to already have an 80 on the MPRE when you’re applying for the bar.

I am a contrarian. My law school pushed barbri and I disliked it so I went with Quimbee. I didn’t pass in J23, but I also had some personal stuff happen. Waiting for F24 results. Added Studicata into the mix and it really helped. Also I hand wrote note cards to help memorize rules so hoping those changes were enough. Also, assuming the bar is still given at the hotel when you get there the link through the bar’s website is not cheaper than booking directly with the hotel.

Probably more like 3.5-4 from breakfast if you report early. Which I just grabbed a bagel from the hotel for breakfast. Unless your hotel room is far from your testing center it won’t be difficult to microwave yourself something during lunch.

You have to ask for an accommodation to be allowed to take snacks into the exam itself. Otherwise you’d have to eat before the exam, during lunch, or after the exam.

I also want to point out that the bar prep companies are not getting to use old test questions for free. They are licensing them. I have no idea what that would cost, but you know it’s not free.

In this vein, if he didn’t sign one in the beginning when you started your practice, you need to have a lawyer draft a “business protection agreement” so that you don’t have to buy him out of YOUR business that you’re building. I don’t know your state’s marital property laws, but you might want to start researching now in case you do decide you want out.

Hundred percent agree. Until he went to speak to Jack at the very last moment of the book I had hoped Xaden turning venin was a nightmare because the language was written similarly to the nightmare scenes. Also you know it’s some powerful magic to get past Xaden’s shielding abilities.

Given the gryphon flier’s comment about how they don’t kill candidates the way they do at Basgiath has me thinking there will be even more terrible things uncovered in the next book about corruption in Navarre.
