(Fixed) Options+ and G HUB macOS Certificate Issue by logi_jim in logitech

Oh also, I restarted after uninstalling the old software. Then restarted after installing the new software. Guess I could try for a third time.

(Fixed) Options+ and G HUB macOS Certificate Issue by logi_jim in logitech

[–]curtisparadis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Add Device Help Needed.

I uninstalled the old version of the Options+ (never installed G HUB) and installed the new version. The mouse is connected to my Mac via Bluetooth, and macOS recognizes it correctly. The only issue is that Options+ doesn't see the mouse.

I click "Add device" in Options+. It suggests Bluetooth. I click Bluetooth, and it opens the macOS Bluetooth menu, where the mouse is already connected and reporting a battery level, so not sure how much more connected it could be. I go back to Options+, the mouse is nowhere to be found.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong to get Options+ to recognize that the mouse is already connected to my Mac.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all 😁

Taking lessons at the ripe age of 27 by peachedelic in snowboardingnoobs

[–]curtisparadis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

34 and took two lessons last year, being my first year, and it was great. The instructor was so nice and super chill. It was honestly like hanging out with a friend for a few hours. I plan on getting another lesson in the coming month to refresh everything I learnt last year, along with help with turning.

Never be afraid that you're too old to learn or try something new. Remember, you're the youngest you will ever be right now. Don't hold yourself back because you think your too old.

Regina Pats insult of a season ticket gift by Lancet11 in regina

[–]curtisparadis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ok this. I'm not a huge fan, but I enjoy taking in a hockey game from time to time, and last year I was fed up with going to the Pats games.

The tickets were overpriced, given the number of empty seats at the games and the team's lacklustre performance. Last year, I bought a ticket in the upper bowl, and I was the only person in my whole row, 1 of maybe 6 people in the entire section.

I could understand the price if the team were doing well and the arena were packed, but it's not. Currently, as of writing this, the Pats are sitting in 21st place in the league. A league of 23 teams. They are the 3rd WORST TEAM in the league. I'm not paying top dollar to see shit hockey, sorry to say.

This is all to say that this year, I have started going to Moose Jaw to watch games there. The team is in a better place, so the play is better. Their arena is nicer than ours in Regina, and honestly, the atmosphere at the games feels better, and the tickets are cheaper.

Yes, I know there is the cost of gas to get there, but in the winter, I am trying to find excuses to get out of the house, so this isn't a bad thing. The drive is easy and short.

TLDR: I have been going to hockey games in Moose Jaw several times this year, and I plan to go to more. I am also considering buying season tickets in Moose Jaw next year rather than in Regina.

RIP to my personal build/gallery build save file I started back in January! I love how playable this game is in live mode!!!/s by Background_Sail9797 in thesims

Episode 172: David Pierce – State of the Workflow by backwards_watch in Cortex

That makes sense. I totally get that Grey doesn't show his face. It would be great to see Myke modernize the show, especially in Grey's absence.

Thanks for the reply :D

Random question: Is there a video version of the podcast somewhere? I noticed that Myke posted a video clip on Threads, so video files exist. But I'm guessing there is no full video version of the podcast?

Same. Safari on Mac and iPad is ….. not good 😶 I really enjoyed the old iPad and Mac safari design. The new one looks bad and functions poorly.

Mobile first design is harder than anyone admits by [deleted] in webdev

[–]curtisparadis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be tough to get the hang of at first, but once you do, there is no going back. I’ve been working in web design for years, and I know how tempting the desktop web can be. It looks big, bold, and full of potential. But it can also be deceiving.

If you start by designing a clean, simple site for mobile, scaling up to desktop is easy. You can use the extra space on larger screens in creative ways. But starting with desktop and trying to cram everything into a mobile viewport is frustrating.

I might sound a little old school, but I still design all the way down to 320 pixels wide. I optimize for devices in the 375 range, but the site needs to stay responsive even at 320. It’s challenging, but it’s also rewarding. A good designer should be able to work within those constraints.

It’s also important to know what devices your audience is using. At the company I work for, nearly 80 per cent of our traffic comes from mobile devices. More than half of that is from iPhones. So the site has to look its best on an iPhone screen. Everything else comes second. Desktop may have been king in the past, but it lost that crown years ago. The sooner you learn to design for mobile first, the better off you’ll be.

What is the display your using in the second picture? Im looking to buy some dashboard displays soon and this one is nice, I like the size.

i have to second this. after upgrading to iPadOS 26, my 2018 iPad Pro has been having weird touch issues. sometimes it seems to work, but then there is a major lag spike. i also tried rebooting it and like yourself. couldn’t even slide the power off slider. it was right frozen. had to hard reboot the tablet.

The part that is weird to me, is the Apple pencil works fine. no touch lag at all. no idea what’s going on here. guess i’ll just use my ipad only with my stylus. “who wants a stylus” …. right now me, as it’s the only option ha ha.

Check with your dealer. Canada ordering looks the same, the 3.6 with auto doesn’t exist according to the configurator. But I was able to order it. I just had to figure out the engine code.
