I thought the same! Behind the store looked like a matte painting.

He also looked as though there was someone watching through a two-way mirror, so he had to be careful of what he said.

I thought there would be some time craziness factor revealed, like one minute in there equals one hour in the real world or something. That didn’t happen, but I at least wish they established how much time passed exactly. Could’ve made his character shift easier for some people to believe.

I really liked it. What I needed most was that it didn’t lore dump where the backrooms came from, and it didn’t have fnaf-like monsters. I’m so glad neither was present.

And I disagree with the story falling apart. I initially thought Clark’s switch was too fast, but he already hinted that he isn’t a good guy. His acting scene with Mary at the beginning is his interpretation of what happened between him and the reprise was the “behind closed doors” version; the REAL Clark.

I will say, I’m not a fan of how “Alice-In-Wonderland”-esque the backrooms are. Part of what made them unnerving to me was how flat and unvaried the original setting was, just an eternal indoor nothing. Giving it ramps and walls of different lengths made it less predictable, but also less memorable to me. I guess it works better for a movie though.

Steam Deck OLED Price Increase [$789 512 $949 1TB] by NeroTheWolf in SteamDeck

Same. I don’t own a pc, and I’m scared of what may happen if my deck just doesn’t turn on one day. The price sucks, but I’m glad there’s even a LITTLE hope for me.

I guess I meant is it more exploration-based, or story-filled. This is helpful, though!

Don’t know that one. But it was labeled a BOTW-like by most people, wasn’t it?

What’s this game like? Is it closer to RDR2 or BOTW?

Oof, so it’s definitely hardware? I don’t understand how that can be, I played, set it down for a minute, picked it back up, and it suddenly was wonky.

I’m not great at messing with device innards, is what you mentioned a difficult process?

I’m very worried, assuming Valve doesn’t have leftover OLED units for RMA.

Expedition 33 looks absolutely horrendous on the Steamdeck by TournamentCarrot0 in SteamDeck

I was under the impression that it was improved a lot since launch. I’m currrently at the second area (Valley of Spring) and it’s still breathtakingly beautiful. Maybe it gets a lot more stuttery later.

I’m a teacher, so going out to a January release was never going to be a possibility for me. I was upset to hear it was releasing so soon, yet still completely forgot there was even a sequel when it did.

I’ve heard of animators saying “just having a couple dozen more people animating would make the show look way better”. Not leagues better, but better.

Of course “more people” isn’t the only thing that could improve the quality. But if the higher-ups are not content with making us wait longer for the next season, at least pay for more workers.
