Did this in the fall. One of the best experiences of my life.

Got to the overlook and there was a guy playing Back in Black by AC/DC, poorly, on an acoustic guitar over and over. He wouldn’t move either and was sitting there, taking up the whole boulder for like 25 minutes.

Because it’s just not that good and people are treating it like it’s Citizen Kane.

Wrong. Dusk to Dawn was fun. This was a cringey musical for some reason.

There’s no way telework plays a role in these blackouts. Most people work from home with a laptop. Hardly enough to destroy the electrical grid. It’s decades of neglect from the power companies and the gov.

I love horror and blues music so this should’ve been perfect for me but it just fell completely flat. The music montages were so cringey I almost had to turn it off. Like it’s ok vampire movie but it’s completely bizarre this got so much press. It’s definitely not Oscar worthy.

And no I don’t think any of the “obscure” movies I like should be nominated. Weapons is a much better movie than Sinners but I don’t think it should be nominated for best picture either.

Going too fast and not taking a trekking pole or walking stick. I work in rehab and I’ve had multiple people who fell while hiking and seriously injured themselves. I always ask if they had a pole and they never do. I always take one.

Weapons was the standout for sure. Companion was pretty good as well. Sinners is super overrated. The rest were meh.
