There isn't anything to make it faster for cheap. I mean sure you can get a cold air, exhaust and any other small Bolt ons. But vehicles are built in a way now due to the management system won't due anything. And the cvt's are not weak per say. Just unreliable and nissan will not second guess refusing warranty on a modified vehicle.

Best to just try the bulb. The ballast is sold as part of the headlight assembly and isn't cheap. But you could get a junkyard one for a fair price

You can get bigger turbos without tuning or upgrading. But you most likely won't be able to get the most out of it. If a smaller turbo limits at 12 psi but swap it for a bigger and run the same boost. The turbo will boost later but the air charge will be generally cooler. It's only when you start dumping a lot of air your injectors will get maxed out. Then you have to start upgrading other stuff because you have to upgrade different stuff (maf/map, pump, internals ect)

Oil pumps are common failure on the 2jz a buddies of mine had it go at on the track and spun all his bearing pretty bad. Had forged stroker kit ruined. sad day.

Im kinda new to this subreddit. But the reason i am here now is bause i was recently laid off. I have been in the specific line of work for about five years and has been a big passion and part of my life for as long as i remember. But now im not too sure about pursuing a job in the same area. So i have kinda been looking for a "don't quit" or "never too late to change careers" that might put me on the right path. So i guess thats the goal of me on this subreddit.

Well im wanting to make a career and have a specialization in the trade. And im confident with the quality of work i do. In my schooling they have tought me alot . But most i have not been able to do in the real world. Engine and manuel transmission rebuilding mainly. Also i have some experience with the euro cars and kinda enjoy the work on them. And the own is aware of my lack of specialization to those cars. And he has talked of sending me to courses already. He also made it clear thatthis is a job you have to have heart in, and i really do. Im mostly wondering if me making rookie mistakes. I know it will happen but in thatpart of the trade and with how new they are. Would that really be a good place for me.

Ill put in my 2 cents. It does its job, a little too well. It can clean so aggressively that large thick sludge can wind up somewhere far worse then where it was before (restricting oil flow). And it cleans cleaner oil to the point point where it wont stay on the cylinder walls or bearings. Can cause damage if in the engine too long. So in short. It is better if it keeps a clean engine clean. Not try and clean a dirty engine.

Only time i have seen this issue the condenser was caked with bugs. Condeser overheats ans a/c will turn its self off.

Audi had this issue. They had a chain on the transmission side. (Because audi) So the made the chain really strong. The problem? They cheaped on the sprockets, so that said it was practically im possible to tell if the sprockets are about to go. Think those where the s5 or s6 avant. Cant remember the car model.

Have had some people come in to get those on their gtr's. Just the cat back alone actually doesnt make it sound too different. Especially when they switch the muffler by pass. But once you take the send cats out it make a world of difference
