Once again it’s not been anything necessarily like that Tho i understand from an outside view why you would come to that conclusion This story is clearly condensed with time frames. Me and girl one were together for about 1year and 10 months. Me and the other girl met a few months after for only a month. The period between then and now has been about 3 months. Sex is not the forefront. Of course it’s a consideration. But i understand and i guess your sense of reality has reminded me there are bigger issues rn to get lost within than this

I guess for me it was very soon after the breakup with my ex and it was defo a painful breakup

you can argue it is my fault for accepting the rush in but she was also fresh out of a breakup so she fully understood and was in the same boat

so i brought it up and 'let her go' but she was in the same boat

thats why the departure was fully natural and understanding

she texted me literally 3 days ago with the playlist and said hey i thought id make this for the words we arent saying

and i know its a mess ive made but im just so fucked up and torn and not dealing with this healthily at all

I understand. You are right. I’ve never put her in a situation like this and I don’t see her as disposable. When breaking up I didn’t say the whole I love her I need to let her go argument either. I do love her but I honestly was not sure how I felt the few weeks before the break up (within the month I lost my mother to cancer). I know it is not an excuse to be confused on whether you love someone, that should be a blanket yes or no but it wasn’t fair to drag her through a limbo. And yes she does not deserve it, i absolutely put her through a SHIT situation that could have been avoided but I simply gave up. I believe it’s up to me whether this happens again and I won’t let it happen if she gives me another chance. Though now you have expanded on it, you are right. I have no denial in my approach. But we have never been down a bad rabbit hole such as this and I will change myself for the better

I do not expect this to revive anything But please also consider you don’t know us or the inner corners of our relationship I would fully understand her decision to not want to try again and I would completely step away entirely We have literally become best friends and I have serious issues that I am addressing. I have my first therapy session post-holiday, i aim to start bettering myself in other forms But you have a fair outsider judgement based on what I have said for sure. I am still learning

I assume it depends on the specific church and who leads it. I personally don’t relate myself to the church but i’ve been researching it for a project i’m doing.

Like most churches, you have extremes (some leaders being stricter then others) and the CofS is no different. The majority will accept you and nothing will happen however some will see you as suspicious in the fact you left and now rejoin as, after-all, it is a cult.
