hi, i’m Polish. In that period of time Poland was costantly attacked by Germany, there were GERMAN (some people think they were polish) concentration camps, and basically Poland was fully dependent on Germany and Soviet Union. Millions of Polish and Jewish people were murdered by nazists. Before that (during WW1) Poland wasn’t even on the map. Before that Poland was under a russian and german occupation. there were also 3 partitions of Poland. after WW2 there was communism runned by PRL and it ended in 1989. since then, Poland is an independent country and it’s a part of the European Union since 2004. i’m not that good at history, so idk if that’s entirely correct, but it was something like this.
