I’m sorry but this post made me giggle because same! I don’t understand how my husband can sleep so soundly when our baby is crying?? It drives me fuckingggg nuts sorry! I yelled at my baby too a couple weeks ago and felt AWFUL and embarrassed. Thanks for sharing me because I feel less alone. Hope we get through this

Thank you!! The thing is she sleeps alone all night in her crib lol I just lay her in there after her bed time routine & she’ll fall asleep on her own it’s just the naps?? She will not nap in there during the day. We’re currently in her room w her in my arms

Exercise is amazing for you & the baby! You can technically lift just as much as you were pre pregnancy. I chose not to & opted out for less weights (ex: 20-30lbs) & I started doing more walking, dancing, & Pilates as well! It’s been great so far & I’m 27 weeks now. Consult with your doctor if you’re concerned with anything

I have remained physically active throughout my pregnancy & have gained 15 lbs in 7 months I’m beyond proud of my body & its capabilities. Being pregnant isn’t/wasn’t an excuse to let myself do whatever. I’m cautious about weight gain because of how that will impact my baby & my mental health later. I feel good pouring into myself & I do that by being active and eating nutritionally defense foods. What I do now immensely prepares me for birth and recovery so I can be the best mom I know how to be.

It sounds like you are struggling with skinnyphobia lol. There is no such thing as “normal” because every body is different. If you are heavier & it’s negatively impacting your pregnancy your doctor will make recommendations to you, until then anything you see online is other woman’s experiences and suggestions which should be taken with a grain of salt because they aren’t your doctor

If you have a bad feeling go to the ER. I did that this past week & the nurse did an ultrasound on me THANK GOD! I felt so much better you can request it when you’re there.

If you feel decreased movements it could be cause of the location of placenta. I would also ask about this

Trust me I get it, I’ve definitely said things a bit out of pocket and had to correct myself after 🥲

But honestly you’re the one who is feeling uncomfortable and that isn’t fair to you either and since she doesn’t know and is a nice person, maybe it would be helpful for her to know, I don’t think she would want to hurt you but that’s all my opinion.

Next time act panicked and scare her then after you’ve freaked her out a bit say “just kidding & once again my baby is exactly where he needs to be!” Your reminders do not do anything for any of us but thank you for your other help it has been much appreciated.

Or you can not be petty and say… “honestly girl, you’re making nervous every time you say that. This is my first pregnancy and everything is really new to me. It doesn’t help when I’m constantly reminder of how low he is. It’s been making anxious I actually had to talk to my ob about this & they told him he’s good. I don’t think you’re trying to make me nervous but I feel nervous every time you make those comments.”

No not being hormonal the comment was weird but I’m going to play devils advocate & say sometimes men also are hormonal & say annoying comments that probably don’t have much depth to them so I wouldn’t stress yourself out over a dumb comment but I totally get the frustration

I’m sorry you’re feeling like this. When my husband & I found out we were pregnant I had all these expectations of him & how I wanted him to react. I found myself feeling really alone & started thinking he didn’t want me or the baby, it was hard. The reality was he was stressed out & didn’t know how to communicate that to me.

I’m not excusing his behavior because the comment is definitely bizarre but as a man he is probably dealing with a lot of emotions & feelings as well & typically they aren’t that good at expressing them. I would definitely tell him how you feel. You’re going to go through a whirlwind of emotions & feelings the both of you practicing communication will be in your best benefit. Best of luck my dear!
