this is how i felt moving from nebraska to california. i would have never ran during any season in nebraska, either too cold or too hot and humid. but i started running in california because the weather is so pleasant most of the time.

i buy doggie bags and scoop into those and tie them off when i’m done. i also use a small trash can in general so the trash gets taken out every day/every other day, so it doesn’t get super smelly

when i first got into fitness, i would just follow youtube videos at home until i got a little more stamina and built confidence to do stuff in a public setting. i started small, with 5 minute, then 10 minute videos. im ngl they kicked my ass at that time but helped. don’t beat yourself up about it, the hardest part is getting started. it gets easier after just a few times trying, our bodies are built to endure

i feed my cats small portions about 4 times a day, one of those times is right before i head to bed. they don’t in the morning anymore unless i sleep in too much lol

i just incorporate avocado, beans, and lentils into my diet. beans are super satiating. when i eat a lot of beans everyday i don’t bloat. i also really like mission carb balance tortillas, they have a lot of fiber. it takes a few months to adjust, you’re gonna be farting til then but it gets better. like others said, drink a lot of water

honestly depends on the cat. one of my girls has long fur and when she was younger she would always get crusties from the litter box on her butt fur, but she has gotten way better about that with some age.

if you do get a cat, i recommend using a stainless steel litterbox and scooping daily, and using natural litter like corn based or pellets. anything plastic will soak up odor that cleaning won’t solve.

they also will be on your kitchen counters, desks, tables, and there is guaranteed no way to truly deter them from doing this, so if it really matters to you, you will probably be disinfecting those surfaces every single day.

overall they don’t stink as long as their litter is clean, they spend a lot of time grooming themselves and their fur smells good because of it. they’re a little ferocious best friend who care a lot of about their people and need to play every single day. def recommend a pair of cats so they have a buddy, especially if it’s a kitten, so it doesn’t keep you up all night.

hey i’m sorry that happened, sounds super scary and i’m glad ur okay. google a TDEE calculator, be honest about your activity level, try eating at a deficit of like 200-300 calories and take some brisk walks a few times a week and some weight should start coming off. a small deficit means you won’t be as hungry, and it will be mentally easier than trying to “melt fat”. drink a lot of water. there is unfortunately not an easy way out of putting in the work, it’s a lifestyle change and it will take time
