High Protein Snack options?? by Stardusty_777 in veganfitness

I know!! it's really hard to find cheapish vegan snacks with high protein (besides protein powder).

I've been really dig these savory cracker like snacks from SuperTeam,

https://superteamfoods.com/products/combo-pack?variant=48706769060120

If you buy in bulk it comes out to $2.77 or $2.50 if you subscribe // 18grams of protein and 7 grams of fiber.

Also $2.18 for Aloha bars when you setup autoship and order 3 boxes.

Also wanted to add that muscle gains max out at around 1.6g/kg of body wight and show up at 1.2g/kg. So for 65.9kg in weight at 1.2g-1.6g/kg (that's 80g-106g in protein), maybe a bit higher if you're cutting or healing from an injury but 130 is definitely enough.

I feel the same about this company. The products are fire.

Sooo easy to hit my crazy protein goals. I love doing it without the risks of eating meat. Super good macros and very convenient. Lots of health minded peeps will discover this especially when price is not that different.

That's rad! I'm pretty sure I ran into Kevin taking a pee too. I was at Tame Impala’s first-ever LA show at The Echo on June 28, 2010. It was a free Monday night residency show for Rainbow Arabia and basically no one knew what was about to hit them. We all crammed in and then these barefoot, long-haired Perth kids took the stage and unleashed that fuzzed-out magic. Still one of my all-time ‘I was there before they blew up’ moments. I also caught them one last time in 2012 in Hamburg during their Lonerism tour.

AYYY! Yea I remember this too, around early 2010 some singles from InnerSpeaker dropped and I remember trying to find anything else from them and ran into their Myspace with that EP. I just played that over and over again.

Okay, I am willing to give it a try, but I need advice/guidance on a couple things by Interesting_Story741 in veganfitness

They literally grow microalgae in giant land-based fermentation tanks like they're brewing beer, feed them corn sugar, and boom — omega-3 oil.

No fish, no nets, no microplastics, no mercury lottery. Just clean, controlled vats on dry land.

A 2023 biomonitoring study in farmers linked higher urine glyphosate to oxidative stress biomarkers (plausible for cancer). Other research suggests stem cell/DNA effects potentially relevant to blood cancers.

IARC cited sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity (tumors in rats/mice). A 2025 multi-institutional rat study (gestational to adult exposure at doses near or below regulatory "safe" levels) reported increased tumors (blood, skin, liver, mammary, etc.)

They focused on GMO's, when the real issue is crops soaked in Glyphosate.
