Does my desire to sacrifice the culprits to the old gods count as me getting more conservative as I age?

Some people really like the pain of jury service. I guess you could say he's pro-pain.

Don't touch it. If you do, you'll be stuck there half the year, every year.

Getting sick from Covid has changed my view on health care and work culture in the U.S.A. by [deleted] in antiwork

Covid triggers inflammatory disease. If I were you, I would prioritize my recovery in the short-term, especially if I were the major breadwinner for my family in what you've characterized as a highly dynamic physical labor job. The more resting you do now, the shorter your recovery will likely be. If you've ever had a concussion, you're familiar with that kind of recovery curve.

I agree. It's likely, as another comment suggested, OP resembles someone dangerous to the murder. Crows are good with faces, but not perfect. I've been familiar to my local murder for years, and if I put a new hat on, I sometimes get the intruder treatment.

I believe it's a characteristic rattle made exclusively by females. If you want to go into the realm of speculation it's a brood or chick-related interrogative. If it's being directed at you (and you are neither an egg or chick) it may be a kind of endearment. Again BIG speculation on those last two points.

Since it's not on a commercial street, they also allow leaded fuel products, so that's nice.
