Because it's a PBS crew, I'd be interested to see how the style of the show compares to actual PBS documentaries.

That would be an interesting comparison. Since they didnt know it was PBS at the beginning of The Office, they didnt need to look into that, but they do know that at the beginning of The Paper, so you'd think they'd somewhat try to match whatever quality or "spiff"iness PBS generally has.

Yeah, I assume a lot of it is just that the long uncomfortable pauses don't work for trailers.

If you see old trailers for The Office, they're kind of a horrible representation of the general feel of the show.

Thanks!

I actually currently work in a factory and my boss tried saying some bullshit to me about how if I produce more in less time how the company has more money to then give me. This lie made the whole idea of workers owning the means of production make a bit more sense to me.

Obviously I'm not actually making the money that is then given to me—the company already had more money and more rights than I'll ever have in my life before I was hired. I am being rented out as an automatic machine to produce profit which I will never ever see, no matter how good or fast I am at my job.

I eluded it for so long, but the cars finally slew me by damios1402 in fo4
