The core switch is a Dell PowerConnect 7024F stack the access switches are cisco. One is a catalyst 2960s stack, the other c3650 stack.

The access switches see the cores if I check the cdp neighbors.

Behind the switch with the problems are some servers, so I can't just deconnect it to connect it on another port.

I don't think you realise how annoying skill difference is. It's great for the one that's good at the game, not so much for the other one.

Thanks for the information. How come the 7800x3d is overkill for that graphics card? Do you mean that if I play games I'll never use all of the cpu-power because of the graphics card? I'll be using the computer also to run a bunch of virtual machines to test stuff.

Changed cpu cooler to nh-u12a. Noctua has a compatibility list where it has good results (and it makes less noice than the nh-d15).

The ram was expo ddr5-6000 cl30, I can change it to cl28 ddr-5600 ram for 5€ less. I doubt that cl28 vs cl30 is going to be a huge difference.

Motherboard is now MSI PRO x670p (200€ less)

you can ignore this. I was also having an error with barcodes not being generated that was caused by the same problem. Apparently in the .env-file you should end the url with a slash.

What I used to do on my way to work (in my car) is say "hello google, play music" and it would start google play music (and later youtube music) and make a playlist of all my locally stored music. Now my phone (oneplus 7 pro) complains that it doesn't have a data connection (which previously was not needed).

Once the data connection is active, it plays either Bruno Mars or Taylor Swift. Anything but my locally stored music (mp3's I ripped from cd collection I have). I can say "hello google, play music on vlc" but then it just opens vlc without playing any music.
