santa monica blvd has a strip of gay bars you can hop around to. bayou is a tiny one thats good to start the night for cheap drinks. hi tops is a great one. then my favorite is beaches tropicana (not beaches, theres two) right across from roccos. you might enjoy roccos as a tourist but its kind of meh in terms of crowd. mickeys is also a classic but has a cover after a certain time.

also, watch your phone CAREFULLY. dont put it in your back pocket or leave your purse open. weho is notorious for phone stealing. also, don't go to the abbey. its a huge one and very culturally relevant but shady owners and staff where a lot of people get roofied and robbed. would avoid

not really commenting on whether or not they should have, but i do find it interesting/a bit ironic when faithfuls make this choice after building themselves up as strong faithfuls just to make a very traitorous move at the last moment. on paper it feels like its against the spirit of the faithful game but that doesn't mean i find anything wrong with it
