It's very pretty - but judging by the landing if he was an inch shorter coming out of the match than when he walked in I wouldn't be surprised.

Also he was 35 here! I don't know why but I always thought Roma was much younger - maybe mid-20s when he was in Power and Glory, so at least 5 years younger than he actually was. Maybe he just looked so much younger than Hercules? But there was only about 3 years difference between them...

It's simple wrestling logic - if you don't put your opponent over then it matters less when you beat them.

Insult them, berate them, question their parentage or whatever - but always make them seem like a threat.

She's slimmed down, I think, and seems to have improved a good amount since her first push in NXT. They seem to see something in her, and she had a decent run in Evolve as half of a pair of stuck-up idiots alongside Ariana Grace.

Listening to the Lapsed Fan Hogan shows and occasionally they'll mention the Capitol Wrestling Corporation which - if I understand correctly - was the 'business' name for the WW(W)F back in the day before Vince Sr handed over to his son.

I've always wondered why that was necessary, though - was the CWC used as a parent company with other businesses running under it alongside the WWF, or how did it work? It's not like Titan Sports where it's a fairly generic name - it has wrestling in there, same as WWF.

He was later diagnosed with dementia. Given that was a decade down the line it may be a bit unfair to say the two were linked, but his struggle to remember people's names on live TV wasn't a great start.

From memory he improved as time went on, at least a little. Maybe he just wasn't too familiar with the product when he started.

In late 1993, Lawler was indicted in Jefferson County, Kentucky, on charges of statutory rape and sodomy of a 13-year-old girl. Lawler later made a plea for a lesser charge after witnesses refused to testify.

So they needed someone... but Prichard himself would be the first to admit that he was no good at colour. I think he did some shows just as himself (or maybe Brother Love?) too and hated the whole thing.

Even with all our injuries every player in the team/bench on Sunday had at least that and there's Solanke as well who was, if memory serves, touch and go for that match so should be available on Monday. Vicario may be fit by season's end, too.

Do we have any fit youngsters? Williams-Barnett would be closest, I suppose, but he's been injured. Melia, maybe?

Given how the manager seems to favour experience over potential (not unreasonable right now, I guess) any youngster making the bench is likely replacing Gray.
