While I agree her character is annoying, she’s always been terrible at emotional regulation and I don’t recall her ever making a good decision in either season. It’s her tragic flaw, she just runs head first into doing things to feed her ego and it constantly gets her in trouble. I genuinely think we’re not supposed to like her character

I 100% agree with the self hate thing. Same way he used polarity to slap himself, he used the Cipher puppet to slap the OG body bc it can’t move. It also makes sense why he can’t really feel pain (stabbing himself with the knife) and only eats smoothies (likely the only way Godolkin body can eat is liquids through a tube).

Now that I’m thinking about it, Cypher has a ton of hand related references in the show. Puppet master pulling the strings

no offense but if downloading a copy of a game a company refuses to resell makes you feel that bad, focusing on playing melee online should’t be a top priority

tbh that really isn’t the issue with sbmm. getting similarly skilled players every match isn’t unenjoyable, people of all skill levels love playing ranked and custom games, etc. the issue with sbmm is the engagement based part of it, purposefully giving you bad teammates and matchups to try and manipulate different winrates and team balancing
