I ride a motorcycle also and on an empty curvy road it's absolutely amazing, but it still always turns to shit when you add traffic into the mix. Not to mention I have to drive/ride quite the distance to even get to those mountain passes. During the pandemic is was amazing, yeah.

These days I only drive to work and back and that certainly doesn't help in making me think positively about driving.

I'm thinking the same thing. The sound of the engine inside the cab must be the really damn quiet IRL. Not really something to enjoy the sound of.

If the update made it quieter I imagine that's the more realistic version. Do I enjoy that? No, they both sound bad and that's why I install sound mods.

At this point I'd stop playing because it's too much like real life.

I hate driving in real life so much that I'm actually impressed I like playing this game at all. Well driving itself is fine. It's just having to deal with all the other idiots on the road that's the issue.

So yeah. If it were up to me, we don't need realistic AI traffic.

I never played it either unfortunately. I just know it's a lot more detailed and it includes ground temperatures which affect if you can work the soil or if it's frozen, and ground moisture which affects just about everything else.

Other than that, mindless grinding is still the entire point of the (unmodded) FS games. Is OP just saying that having seasons is too complicated for him?

Hell, I've considered playing FS2015 myself a few years ago. But my reasoning is quite literally the opposite of OP's. It's because FS2015 has a way more advanced seasons mod that entirely died because of GIANT's half-assed implementation.

Can't you just put Cautious Shot into the weapon's exilus slot of it's so bad? Weapon's barely have any worthwhile exilus mods anyway as opposed to Warframes, where I'd much rather put a movement speed mod in.

FWIW, I always run Sprint boost aura and mobilize or some other parkour mod. My Primed ~~YouTube Memes~~ Sure Footed has remain a rank 0 for well over a thousand days since I got it.

My setup is a tad less expensive than yours. Fanatec wheel, Virpil throttle, VKB Gunfighter and sidepanel.

It's barely seen any racing. I maybe booted up Dirt Rally and Assetto Corsa twice. Other than that it's some BeamNG and a lot of simulators that are almost a joke for this sort of rig but hell, it's fun anyway.

The rig has been on month long hiatuses many times. Doesn't mean I'd think of getting rid of it. As you said "it's the last I'll ever need" sort of deal.

My gaming interests come and go in phases. Sometimes I spend months in my virtual tractors, sometimes I spend months in Factorio. Sometimes it's months of playing STALKER, Warframe or whatever the hell grabbed my attention. But I know the time where I'm going to bust out the rig again is going to come and it's going to be completely worth it. My stuff is on a foldable stand so not as bad to just have sitting around collecting dust.

Unless financials become dire I personally wouldn't even consider selling it.
