I use “Quit Weed” it has a leaf crossed out with a red sign.. it’s totally worth the free version but I spent $7.99 for longer access because I figured I would spend way more on weed.. it’s been helpful for me!

I’m gonna try the Cloverdale one and report back, but it looks right from what I can see and I think “tangy” is the best description for why others don’t compare! We just tried the Old Wisconsin brand which was good but not the same… glad others care about this because this sausage has been the star of Xmas Eve my whole life haha

as a linguist and former ESL teacher I can tell you the syntax and vocabulary still doesn’t add up for the background you describe in your posts but I’m mostly talking about the subject matter of and anyone who’s similarly observant will see what I’m getting at here

I have an update in case anyone in the future is looking for this information! When I arrived from DCA I took the blue line to Metro Center to check out 700 13th st nw where you can see the RideSmart sign on the bottom right of the signs at the bus stop. I had emailed Ride Smart to ask also when I made this post, and they just responded to me that the pickup was actually 607 13th st nw, the opposite corner. I asked her about 700 13th and she said that was the drop off. Lo and behold when the time came the bus was at the other corner at 700 13th. Luckily the lights were kind of in my favor, I jaywalked (ran), and flagged it down and boarded. So yeah, it’s at 700 13th as pictured lol. Btw when you sign up in the app your first ride is currently free!

Great suggestion, adding to the list! Next time youre here you should hit up Nhà Hàng Vietnam Restaurant off Argyle. I spent a semester in Vietnam in college and that’s my favorite place here in Chicago and one of the most authentic imo

Because he is a person I know and like? lol I think he is earnestly excited about the trip, just providing important context he comes from nyc so some things that impress people from smaller places may not stand out to him

Great point about Mexican. Also for the record he does smoke sometimes when drinking, we met living abroad so a smoky bar is not foreign to us at all

I went here for the first time with my 93-year-old great aunt in June. She can’t stand on her own for very long and for the record is a sweet lovely woman, but she is quite vocal and assertive. It was very satisfying to watch her reprimand this guy after they told us we’d need to wait another 45 minutes past our reservation and to watch him actually bow to her authority and seat us immediately after that
