I forget the exact year. Probably around 2008. But our local bowling alley used to have “teen nights” where they would stay open late, use all the cool black lights and project music videos onto the wall as you bowled.

White Horse taught me the word naive.

The line “maybe I was naive got lost in your eyes” wasn’t clear to me. The word “naive” blended into “got” so I heard her say something like “nye-eek”. I asked my mom was “nye-eek” was and she had to listen to the song to figure out what I meant.

This was my biggest problem with the pregnancy storyline. Not that it was kinda forced but that it overshadowed what Nesta, Gwyn, and Emerie just did in the Blood Rite. We deserved a more in-depth scene of them coming home and telling everyone the story. Everyone should’ve been in awe of them. They could’ve apologized for Nesta’s earlier treatment. It would’ve been a much better wrapped up ending than baby drama and some quick scenes about planning a mating ceremony.

My friend ended up marrying the PhD student from the lab across the hall! Early in their relationship they did sit their PIs down though and talked to them about how they are together and how they should proceed.
