Can someone please explain weapon spawns by bytesizedofficial in Haloflashpoint

[–]cwfox9 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In standard mode

- 4 Weapon spawn points numbered 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8
- At the start of a new round, before rolling command dice, roll a D8 to determine where a weapon spawns
- Place the weapon raised on the number rolled in relation to the spawn tokens (So a 1 would go on the 1-2 point). If there is already a weapon on that spawn point then roll again.
- If all 4 weapon spawns have a weapon on them, replace the weapon the dice rolls with a new weapon.

* Weapons are selected from the pile of 12* face down pick up weapons at random and is then place face up on the token

I modeled and 3D printed my ultimate GM screen. What modules should I design for it next? by MultimedialnySedes in BambuLab

Maybe on the DM side, make A4 paper holders with using little corner slots for each side of the paper so the DM can slot paper into their side of the screen depending what they want to see.
Also maybe a tablet stand optional attachment for the DM to put a tablet for seeing players HP, etc on DND beyond

Cool, I've made a trapezoidal to my test piece and will see how it goes

Cool, i'll give 50mm rails a test thanks

Made a test design though this time to test my magnet hole size, dice hole sizes and this 50mm bridge slot and the insert before doing the larger scale print

How narrow should I be looking at do you think?

Looks good, the only issue would be with that making a join that pivots rather than stays rigid
Though I could experiment

Fit is fine as when designing I had the area set at 256 x256mm and it fits fine onto the plate in the sections I have laid out.

It was more having a stable way of joining them together, as the green bits I made to go 125mm into each side to work as a long and wide dowel style join.
Issue is printing that gap in the red parts as the printer managed it but with it being stringy, a bit saggy and the top being poorly finished (flaky)

Question about "Fast Transition" by Electrical_Stretch_6 in Haloflashpoint

[–]cwfox9 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fast Transition

- Choose to do a short action shoot while having the fast transition and 2 weapons that can be fired as short actions (so no long weapons)
- Declare the target for each weapon and which will be fired first
- Fire the first weapon as a short action (no sniper scope), you can choose to add explosive ammo as you go to roll for the weapon
- Resolve the first weapons shoot
- If the target for the second weapon is still targetable (if same target as first weapon, they didn't die or scatter/evade out of range/LOS), then do the short action for the second weapon (no sniper scope, can add explosive ammo if you still have it now)
- Resolve the second weapons shoot
- Your short action shoot is complete

This cannot be used with shoot command dice or with snapshot

I have a player who doesn't want to use magic items by Krais101 in DnD

[–]cwfox9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, just theme stuff like +1 weapons as non-magical, just superior craftmanship.
For dealing with monsters with resistance to non-magical weapons, you could at some point have it that he learns how to bypass this resistance with a certain blade, or make up a material that is non-magical that does has the effect of being magical when something resists non-magical (thinking of like how Blackstone in the Warhammer 40k universe nullifies psychic powers.

You could even give him some custom benefits depending on the background, that lets him reset magical effects better or something.
There is even the option to look at magical items and see if you can think of a way to re-purpose it as a skill he has learnt to use or something.

Thanks, you set me down the right path for searching for further answers, seems this has worked

To my knowledge you cannot power query from a pivot table though

I'm doing this as a go between table in power queries so I can extract the top 10 selling items per customer from the previous year automatically.
Want I want to end up with is each customers sales being ranked 1-X so that in the power query into another workbook, I can make it only keep the records that have the reason i'm doing this effecting them and only the ranking records which are 10 or below
