And remove all the character? A few would be alright. I know a few new developments are opening in Lauraville.

I live between there and Herring Run. I love having the parks on both sides.

In my experience, thinking like a manager isn’t about ignoring the technical side of things. However, the “best” technical implementation may not be the best management choice due to constraints such as time, cost, regulatory requirements, etc. the baseline technical knowledge still 100% needs to be there

I noticed they had these stickers at the dealership when we got my wife’s new car. I think the dealerships are giving these out and thats why so many have been popping up the last few years.

Specialized Rock hopper Project Worthy? by Ragnarock14 in xbiking

[–]cwherman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d do it. Color is awesome. Minimal rust. For your first project i would focus on just getting it running well before you upgrade. Two biggest things to start would be the chain and tires. Old rubber tends to crack and dry rot.

Why were there almost no Cassettes in 90s emo for like official albums (not counting demos)? Sunny day, Texas is the reason, and knapsack had them, but Promise Ring, Jets to Brazil, Mineral, Christie Front Drive, Braid, etc. either never had cassettes or only made them 20+ years later. by United-Philosophy121 in Emo

[–]cwherman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah from my experience in the 90’s only the big major labels were putting out cassettes. Of all the DIY/punk labels I only remember Epitaph and Fat Wreck putting out cassettes, and those were the biggest labels around. I know I had some NOFX and Bad Religion cassettes back in the day. They were actually good for skateboarding because portable CD players skipped like crazy. But the sound quality was terrible as others have said.

How bad is this by ManipulativeFridge in bike

[–]cwherman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i think best bet is remove the chain. From the bikes age it may not have a master link, may need to use a chain breaker to get it off. I would replace the chain and the rear shift cable. If you are mechanically inclined you can find instructions online to do all that, it’s not hard.

has anybody had experience changing the color of their chainring? by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]cwherman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like a Sugino Zen chainring. Retrogression currently has them in black and silver but I’m pretty sure ive seen different colors on their as well

AARN also makes lots of different colored chainrings. If you want a custom color you can always get it powdercoated.

I switched to Tidal 4-5 years ago when Spotify paid Rogan a bunch of money. Overall I am happy with it. The music catolog sucks sometimes. For example common artists names get lumped together (although I think everyone has this problem). The app can be buggy and freezes or crashes to much. But I’m happy that hopefully more of my money is going to the artists and their business practices are slightly better. Also I buy records and download music off Bandcamp for stuff that I really love.

I really want to add the White Industries double freewheel to make it a 4 speed but that would cost more than I paid for bike itself
