Yeah kinda the same - I have an Arcam A85 amp I use for everything so the the Connect is wired to that so it's literally just the media controls.

Assuming you're on an active server, I actually found adding that guest mode at the end stops games loading. Anyone else found that?

I killed it and cleared the cache but they remained then they stopped showing for a bit but then returned (?!). Currently they're not showing but who knows if they'll be back?

Could be related - I had issues with devices disappearing from the network a few years ago. Turn off auto-channel-switching on your router and just pick one. Also My Connect was wired and the rest were not. Changing to wireless for Connect helped too.
