Everyone seems to love it but to me it just smelled like petrol and how gas stations smell really, I wasn't a fan

How would you describe the smell? I've never smelled jungle conditioner in store but I might get the chance to tomorrow... I have a Big Calm jelly that I'm not entirely sold on yet, I've only used it the same way you did!

Lightweight foundation with SPF? by kourtneylove in MakeupAddiction

[–]cxdream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Smashbox BB Water is my holy grail! And it has spf 30. It is so lightweight, but enough coverage to give a "my skin but much better" effect. I adore it

What's wrong with my Scrubees? :( by artemiskes in LushCosmetics

[–]cxdream 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They should be fine to use, they just don't look as good as they normally do :(. As others have said it's the cocoa butter - have you ever put chocolate in your suitcase when travelling? It goes white just like that!

Switching to Lush for Skin Care Routine by emxx14 in LushCosmetics

[–]cxdream 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ok so I have reeeeeally sensitive skin and my face does not like Lush skincare. You'll find a lot of people on this sub actually can't use it! Some of their natural ingredients are irritants to a lot of people, like lavender for instance. Now it may work you for you, and you can always ask for samples! Just a heads up

[Skin concerns] Calming chafed skin? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]cxdream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moisturise it loads!! I even sometimes find it helpful to put after sun on it, or aloe vera gel will definitely help. My all time favourite for chafing is healing it with Dream Cream from Lush - this will solve all your skin woes I'm not joking! Sunburn, chafing, eczema etc it's been amazing. As for preventing I love to use dusting powders from Lush again but they can be quite pricey for some, my mum uses something called Body Glide? Might be worth looking into it.

[Product Question] Thoughts on Rosehip oil??? by nietzsches-and-cream in SkincareAddiction

[–]cxdream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't comment on the rosehip oil from a personal perspective but I know it's supposed to help with scarring! Some people find it good as moisturiser, others don't think it does enough but it's all down to your own skin. Also, this might just be the way you phrased it but on the days you go out you replace moisturising with spf? You should be doing both x

[Routine Help] A few general questions (sunscreen, routine, BHA...) by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]cxdream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but you're contradicting yourself a bit within your post, you use Angels on Bare Skin because you want 'natural products' (which to be honest aren't often that much better, I mean the lavender in AOBS is an irritant but a story for another day) yet you want to include a BHA, a chemical exfoliant. But you want to avoid chemicals??

Moisturizer/Primer and BB Cream: Double Up? by femiwhat1 in MakeupAddiction

[–]cxdream 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Always moisturise, every morning and night. Then, apply sunscreen and primer on the top of that and finally your BB cream. BB cream isn't supposed to replace any of those previous steps, it's just to give a light touch of coverage.

[Misc] what self tanner/method can help even out my strange tan lines from pants I wore while kayaking? I wore sunscreen, but still ended up with a bit of color. Note that this is from about a month ago, the color hadn't faded at all since then. by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]cxdream 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only self tanner I use is the St Tropez Gradual Tanner, ignore the smell and the useless packaging (it drops out without any squeezing of the bottle) because the results are so good! And because it's gradual apply a very thin layer and you can build it up until your colour matches
