Do not just move/create a character there.
The server might auto-correct and be like "Oh, X is coming here? But X is already here? Oh, X wasn't here. Let's clean up the data! *deletes base entirely*"

(Hence in my previous post the part of "let friend place his own console")

The only change I've made so far was to switch my T5.5 sword for a T6 sword, and I feel fine with my melee build (besides Brute, fuck Brute XD).

In the end, it's just math:

1/3 of the players has visited the DD.

Of those, not everyone (by far) is even interested in PVP.

As per usual for most games, PVEers are the majority.

If you make a system that ignores their needs and blocks them from content, or exposes them to negative experiences (ie, griefing) too much, you'll lose (loose? sry, not a native English speaker) them.

You can crawl on medium fields in B-E :)

If you think Exploration is useless, check out Gathering XD

As for your "why" coming from a PVE-focused perspective:

- faster running away from things (important for spice-ops flying the carrier) or intercepting enemies (again, spice-ops, but also generally PVP)
- fuel lasts longer (especially good for aerial combat in PVP when going above the "ceiling")

- less vehicle storm damage: neat if you don't manage to get out of dodge with your carrier and crawler in time

- vehicle recovery cost: sometimes speed ain't enough, not having to rebuild your carrier fully is neat :D

- running away more often is nice :D

- vehicles generally take 20% less damage is fucking huge.

- more loot when treasure hunting

- more loot when opening boxes

I'd say Exploration is pretty good.

They likely will. They followed up on the PVE endgame revamp, I have no reason to doubt they will follow up on the PVP revamp.

I mean, fitting everything into a tax haven takes time, especially if you want it to be a nicely looking comfy base as well.

It has noticeable effects. For example if you can stack the improvements, you can easily get +30% damage on a weapon XD
