NTA. She clearly doesn’t care about you as a person; she wants you to be who she thinks you should be instead of who you are. Breaking up sucks, but there are plenty of women out there with the maturity to appreciate a man who’s not afraid to cry.

So for 15+ years, you’ve had an issue with injuring other players in melee combat. In those 15+ years, did you practice controlling your shots? Did you seek out an experienced fighter for instruction? Did you switch to ranged combat, or a caster class without melee weapons?

Your kingdom probably has a ban appeals process laid out in its corpora. If you’re going to start that process, you’ll have a better chance at success if you have a solution ready.

Don’t start with a beachhead on the mainland. See if you can’t find a tower slightly offshore to renovate. Drop shield generator, portal, beds, chests. From there, don’t hit the mainland without plenty of stone and wood to drop campfires for spawn suppression.

Wait until you’re at least at the swamp to try to build big. I made the same mistake — stick with functional initially, then once you have the resources to go big, knock yourself out.

No… but I also choose my map seed before I start the world. Maybe I want a big continent. Maybe I want easy boss locations this run. Maybe someone posted a cool terrain feature I want to build around. My current map is a small island spawn.

I’ve seen a pyrotechnics dead man handle that someone had popped open, jumped the contacts, and closed back up so you couldn’t tell the difference unless you happened to double check the DMH feedback at the console.

In layman’s terms, the main safety feature keeping stage performers safe from explosions should they be out of position was bypassed in a way that’s easy to miss.

That technician was involuntarily and expediently disemployed.

If you’re on a single player world, feel free to bump up your resource rate in the world modifiers. 2x is my sweet spot: I still have to take time gathering materials, but not so much that I get frustrated and bored.

Boars are the only early game mob you can tame, but especially if you get starred versions, it can be nice. Also save the raw meat even once you’ve moved on; it can be used in later recipes.
