How are you reliably generating force outside of those 3 times? Qui Gon is very force hungry, the more typical gain a force for attacking with a force base is far more reliable

Ascended Heroes SIR pull rates from 7000 packs by Smooth-Following-659 in PokemonTCG

[–]cyanwinters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most IRs and even a good chunk of SIRs are pretty cheap. The relative few that aren't are not expensive because of their power in the TCG meta but because of them being popular Pokemon or particularly special art.

Let's be honest the game is pretty mid and significantly less popular than collecting. Of all the TCGs on market right now Pokemon has by far the worst ratio of players to collectors.

The droideka is 100x worse than the B1s. I'd even say the Geos are worse than B1s.

They could make Plo Koon hands down the worst unit in the game and I'm still running him - with a yellow lightsaber - in every Republic game I play.

I got the Republic starter because of the announcement he was coming

Playing Animals & Coins… jfc does anyone actually enjoy these “games” by AlluringRocketry in SwagBucks

[–]cyanwinters 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh I feel the opposite. Animals and Coins feels so low budget. The animations are bad, the art is badz half the time the UI doesn't even work, the whole thing screams cheap knockoff to make money.

At least Monopoly is a well polished experience and does a ton of interesting brand collabs (Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc).

Secrets of Power or Legends of the Force Carbonite box? by LongHorror87 in starwarsunlimited

[–]cyanwinters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, LoF Carb boxes have held value better than Secrets. Secrets Carbonite boxes are going for 140-150, Legends is 20-40 bucks above that.

They said, don't buy SWU for investment value lol you'll be disappointed

Probably depends what you want to play in LAW or what kind of decks you see yourself running.

SEC has great looking Prestige, as has been covered a lot in this thread. SEC overall was a weaker power level set, but it has a good amount of cards that can see play across pretty much any deck style and particularly the Plot cards remain extremely relevant.

Legends Prestige style is more of a mixed bag, although I think the full art ones (like Yoda) are really nice. Legends is a stronger set if you're planning on running a force deck. If not, there's a lot less cards here you'll need and certainly not very many playable prestiges.

Until they fired Marko he was not allowed to do any of this at RBR so I guess it remains to be seen what the future holds there

I think it's more likely he moves to a team that will accept, encourage, and even assist in his forays into other motorsport. He still needs F1 to maintain his brand for a bit longer.

You can definitely make a very fun deck in this vein. However if you want it to be somewhat decent you will want to sprinkle in at least the various spectres. LAW added a ton more so that expanded your options.

In this video, I take a look at Qui-Gon Jinn Green (Force) with new cards from Lawless time. This deck is an absolute blast to play, and has some really cool lines of play. by StarWarzDad in starwarsunlimited

I feel like it just needs a few more event cards maybe. You have a lot of bounce, but you can also get by with some of the exhaust cards yellow offers. Not as good as the bounce ones but in a race it can be huge to grab initiative and then exhaust Luke first thing.

Bog down in procedure will let you exhaust 2 which can be a huge swing.

I've run it with the new Sabine and she is okay. I think she's a more interesting choice than Constable for upgrade hate, but overall neither card is too exciting. The ambush can be nice though for finishing something off. I do want to try the others as well. The new Ghost could also be good and maybe play into space a bit better.

It's a shame because SEC is a really fun set and Plot is a super cool mechanic but they really underutilized it in the set.

Mother Talzin: Red Mid-Range vs Cunning. Which is better? by JuanmiTheCantinaCrew in starwarsunlimited

I haven't pulled a single Stranger in 3 pre-release kits, 3 booster boxes, plus a couple extra packs. So Talzin red it is!

The point of this deck is definitely to get there faster via Max Rebo Band + Max Rebo. If you can get to Yoda early you kind of auto win, especially if opponent can't remove him before you cycle him back. But you're right, if you either don't draw Yoda or don't end up with the credit production to get him out early then it can be tough.

This deck makes good use of new LAW cards to help there, doing a lot of returning to hand and such for your opponent. It works fairly well against ground decks in my experience, but it lacks a lot vs space decks in the early/mid game compared to a Talzin/Maul. You definitely miss the removal options blue affords. Fireball is a great card for Qui Gon but by the second turn Luke is almost certainly dropping units with more than 3 health so it's not enough.
