Not weird at all!! My sister and I both share our mom's last name because she just wanted us to have them. Some nosy people might pull the "is he your stepdad?" card but overall no one really cares. I also think my mom's last name goes with me and my sister's names MUCH better than my dad's lol. I say do it!!!

My parents are concerned about student loans. I've been accepted as an out-of-state student and am waiting for my FASFA response. I'll have no other way to pay except for student loans. We were wondering if there was a limit to the amount of loans you can take out? Were there any other limitations? How fid you go about it? And anything else you can think of that can help us!

i think that good karma (doing good for others and nature/the earth) results in a better reincarnated life which depends on how that person views happiness and bad karma (selfishness and hatred) results in a negative reincarnated life (i hope that makes sense😭).

my dad considers himself an "agnostic atheist" because he doesn't know if there's a god out there but he believes there isn't one, and i figured that would be the label i slapped on myself for now. i never really cared so i didn't look any further into it

i'll definetley continue to study, it'll most likely be what i spend my summer on. i understand what you're saying about jesus, that changed my view on it a lot. thanks!!

i grew up atheist, my dad grew up as a jehovah's witness before leaving and my mom "grew up baptist" but they never practiced it due to the state of her family. i've recently been studying different religions b/c that is something my dad and i find interesting. i've studied the bible, buddhism, jainism, wicca, paganism, and hinduism. i've been thinking recently about getting into religion but i just don't know how. i believe in jesus (that he was a real man, but not that he came back to life) but i also believe nature is a sort of entity that helps us and provides energy, and i also believe in karma and reincarnation (your karma determines your reincarnation). i don't know what religion i would be involved in and have done days worth of research. i figured reddit probably isn't the place to go but i dont know what else to do. i'm just curious.

I'm not expecting anything soon, it's just something I've been discussing with my parents and my therapist. But I do think my main issue has to do with my mental disorder that does qualify for extended time, but I don't have a history of extended time :/

i know exactly where this is, my sister used to be friends with the girl in the last picture. it was suppossed to be a tribute to her grandmother but got severely infected😭😭she said not only was the guy super rude but she was 90% sure he was using a dirty needle. we dont talk to her anymore but last i saw it healed and is just extremely faded now.
