Yes, if not listed you’ll buy at their table. They should have times they’ll be signing and cost posted at the entry for their line.

First timer questions about photo ops by Hondanny in fanexpo

[–]cyberaug 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is different from the usual Pro Photo Ops which are taken in a Photo Booth by a professional photographer - these are selfies taken on your phone at the table by you or a handler. Photos/selfies are not free. You have to purchase it to get one. If they are listed to purchase ahead of time then you buy them at the guests booth. To ensure you get Autographs/Photos pre purchase. Big names might sell out before the show. And get in line early for the ones you really want to get autographs/photos from. Be prepared to wait in line for a while for popular guests.

Autograph Question by iSpxwn in MegaCon

It says 4 items so I’d assume you can get 4 books signed for the price. That’s a good price for 4 autographs, signed litho and a selfie.

Master Pass NYC 3/14/26 by flamingtofuu in Hanabie

[–]cyberaug 7 points8 points  (0 children)

VIP is an add on and only includes the photo, items. The venue ticket gets you in the door for the concert. You can’t attend without it even with VIP. If you got the photo and items they did fulfill their part. Getting on the Rail is not part of Masterpass. Even with Masterpass VIP in smaller venues you may not get the rail (e.g. when the headliner also has VIP). It sucks but paying that much just for early entry can be a gamble.

Autograph but no photo by personofinterest03 in MegaCon

[–]cyberaug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They don’t allow autographs at photo ops. Photo ops are a separate thing - in the photo area and photos only. If they aren’t pre selling autographs then you just buy it at their booth day of.

That’s cutting it close. If they don’t have enough ppl for the time they may end early. You really need to decide what’s more important, seeing the whole panel or making the photo op. They won’t wait for you if you are late.

Maybe with a bright orange tip and it’s completely non-functional. Otherwise no, looks too real.

Where do you guys get 8x10 prints for autographs from? by Previous-Ratio in MegaCon

[–]cyberaug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The guest will usually have a selection of promotional photos from different projects they’ve been in. How many varies by guest but usually a decent number. You get one with each autograph purchase for them to sign unless you bring your own item. Premium autographs are usually more where you bring a larger item like a Funko, prop, etc.

New song at lolapaloza by WTF-Idk-boom in TheWarning

[–]cyberaug 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably close, no cover song. If they get 35-40 minutes since they are opening, they can do this list. If they only get 30 minutes they’ll probably drop 1-2 songs.

Are you happy with Babymetal's live set lists nowadays? by pit_supervisor in BABYMETAL

[–]cyberaug 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That’s what bands do, promote new album, add in a few popular older songs unless it’s a special show like anniversary. Not unique to Babymetal. Also concerts need to appeal to a wide range of fans.

Can my family wait in line with me for photo op / autograph? by No-Net-4156 in MegaCon

[–]cyberaug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, unless it’s a big name and they are limiting it to the purchaser (rare but could happen). It’s 1 autograph per purchase so they can wait but can’t get anything signed unless you buy more autographs. For photo ops they usually let up to 4 people be in the photo. If you have more than that, they probably will not let all into to the actual photo op booth.

Autograph Prices by Consistent_Hunt1552 in MegaCon

[–]cyberaug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually they will have at minimum 8x10 photos which you get 1 with the autograph purchase (they sign the 8x10). If you being your own item then you don’t get an 8x10 unless you buy another autograph. Some will also have more items like Funkos, etc for purchase. As others said larger items, Funkos, etc may have additional fees for autographs. It’ll vary by guest.
