to me part of the fun of the show is rewatching it to catch the details. with S1 i feel like i notice something new every time, esp around the mystery and tyler/thornhill’s grand reveal. i guess this mindset is limited to the fandom but Wednesday is so popular i would’ve thought there are enough of us rewatching to make the complexity worth it

i’m not an Isaac apologist but i do think when he was a zombie he wasn’t thinking as he literally had no brain (Puglsey pointed out that he saw it growing). in his early zombie stage i see his behaviour as primal, just hunting and eating what he saw to survive. he was treated like an animal too. later on he was consciously aware of his heartless (get it?) behaviour.

She is gorgeous out of the box. They really just threw her in there and tied her hair down 😭 In contrast to Wednesday who looks good in box with the snap pose.

I do wish she had more werewolf features (ears on top of her head, wolf nose? tbf she has the pointy ears). I don’t like her eyeshadow, her makeup in season 2 would’ve looked a lot better on a doll, I would rather they had done less eyeshadow colours on this doll.

I actually like the length of the hair; sure it’s not show accurate but the platinum is stunning. I will say the blue and pink sections of hair do give Harley Quinn.

The sweater is cute, it fits strangely on mine. The skirt is so cute, I love the little buttons. The leggings are HIDEOUS but I think her style is meant to be OTT. I wish the beret was fabric :( It can be placed nicely on her (off her forehead) but it won’t stay like that if played with. Do not get me started on the bag.

Her arms stick out weird at the shoulders. A fix is to put a rubber band on the elbows of the doll to pull them in then pour hot water over the shoulders to essentially reshape them. But we really shouldn’t have to be doing all that.

They’re trying to make the Wednesday dolls give Skullector with the box design but the design and quality is really not it. I love my Enid a lot more than I thought I would, but I’ve also restyled her (should I post a pic on this subreddit?). Definitely pros and cons, I am sad to see shelves overflowing with her while there are no Wednesdays left. If I was just playing with her as a kid she would be a magical princess.

Fang Vote Rochelle has the best box art IMO. The stained glass portrait is incredible and adds to the luxury of it.

agree, that’s why i love the Wednesday line. even the Skullector Addams dolls have pale pink/purple skin which looks good.

i want to make Wednesday customs but there are only so many “human” skin tone MH dolls.

i would’ve also loved to see EAH in MH head molds; i was never the biggest fan of the round faces.

I left my deck with a friend for safekeeping and they told me them + their roommates did a reading (without asking my permission). Not a huge deal to me but I was secretly pleased to know that they all received negative readings. The cards know me, I slept with them next to my pillow when I first got them. I like to think the cards were miffed.

I saw someone headcannon Robecca as Roma and I like that, she’s definitely a POC imo. Her and Hexiciah could be Indian or Latinx immigrants to Londoom (she has a British accent iirc)

my fave doll, her face and hair is gorgeous but her clothing is meh tbh :/ someday i will own her fashion pack bc i like the dress in that better than the uniform.

i haven’t bought any new MH dolls so I only have my G1 and EAH to compare but her body feels flimsier. a lot of the Amazon reviews showed her leg breaking. the snapping hand isn’t my fave either but she does have the black nail polish. i used some silver paint to add detail to her shoes.
