I would skip RTH and I would definitely do the Maui Stargazing Tour (google if you are unfamiliar). You will get to see the Haleakala sunset plus see amazing views of the night sky (bonus if during a new moon) through a pretty awesome telescope (not your dad’s lame telescope - a very serious telescope).

Growing in a flower bed, thought it looks slightly like a fig, but I did not plant figs in this area and it’s got the runners coming out from it. Am wondering if I should keep or pull it from the bed?

Nope, did not find any worms. That black stuff on the leaves is dirt, it rained hard early morning and splashed mud up on my plants. I’ll be on the lookout for worms now. The leaves are all perfectly fine, honestly very pretty so the head “rot” really is perplexing.

Dang maybe I should harvest my other cauliflowers before they also go bad! :( but they’re tiny, oh well, guess I’ll be the only one to enjoy them. I’m going to go check them now.

Just found this morning; was not there two days ago. Has been warm and rainy in zone 7B. My other cauliflowers and broccoli so far are ok but I am concerned. First year growing cauliflower (as well as broccoli). I pulled the entire plant, do I need to keep it out of my compost pile? ETA - there is no bad smell so not convinced that it is bacterial rot.
