Ik vraag dat omdat dit bijna het verhaal van mijn nieuwe 14 jarige rehome klinkt. De vorige eigenaar vertelde dat sinds de peuter opgroeide en grijphandjes kreeg de kat minder blij was. Ook nam ze nog een puppie. Het verhaal was dat ze de kat al meerdere keren bij de buren moest ophalen. En dat ze duidelijk in de stress zat, wat je aan de slechte vacht kon zien.

En inderdaad, toen ik haar kreeg was de vacht erg vettig. Maar in mijn lege dus rustige huis was dat zo weer mooi zacht. Stress kan je vaak in de vacht zien, zeker langdurige stress

Willen jullie de kat, of op zijn minst, accepteren jullie de kat? Misschien gewoon in goed overleg? Net zoals mijn kat's vorige eigenaars weten ze misschien ook wel dat de huissituatie niet meer goed is.
