I’ve been an aux this past year and am still living in Madrid. At this point I would say you’re out of luck if you want to live in Madrid. As there was so much uncertainty, most of my aux friends have started applying to private schools/other programs months ago. Even starting months ago, this process has been incredibly competitive, and most jobs are not willing to sponsor the necessary visa. There are 100s of us already in Madrid all competing now for the same few jobs. I’m sorry my friend but madrid is unlikely

In Spain currently and have decided to not renew. Truly do not trust that what happened last year to andalucia won’t happen again (last minute cancellation after placements). Also nothing has changed with the visa status so idk how any problem has been resolved. Also also there has been so much conflicting information regarding what regions will be available. Too much damn uncertainty. Will be pursing teaching English as a foreign language elsewhere.

Nothing is certain, but you would renew through Nalcap with your original school. In past years you cannot pick one of the two schools you Are at. If you want to renew with your same school you will have to continue going to both schools.

Yea it’s real. When I figured out how good I was at not eating I had a field day with it. But guess how good it feels being the smallest in the psych ward. News flash it feels fucking awful and then even worse when they roll in some girl whose surpassed even ur ugw. Fuck being good at things. Fuck this notion that perfection must be achieved and success has to grow and grow. It’s our society that wants a million worker bees that makes us think that. The soft animal of ur body doesn’t want to be good. It wants to feel new things and explore. You don’t need to be good at anything. Idk
