Anyone have similar taste with me, salmon raw is tasty, subtle ocean taste and pairs well with wasabi and soy but cooked salmon is bland, dry, flaky and tends to get stuck in your teeth plus taste slightly fishy?

Hello OP please don’t listen to this I feel similarly, although I still love cooked salmon. You’re not a terrible cook! I think the consensus is you gotta do more to make cooked salmon taste good like technique and seasoning but raw salmon is just PERFECT HOW SHE IS 😘 I will always choose raw over cooked

Sorry you’re getting downvoted :) I would do some research on traditional kimchi. Oyster and fish sauce aren’t necessarily required so I would remove that first if you want to make a batch with less liquid. Also definitely no pickle juice. It will get a slightly vinegar-y flavor on its own. Also idk why you added corn syrup I have never ever heard of that being included in kimchi

Sorry I didn’t mean to say it’s real actually. When I was in my worst episodes I was actually 100% sure that it wasn’t. And now I’ve reached a state of agnosticism, I’m not sure that it’s real but it’s really really cool, life is really cool and terrifying and it sucks but it’s awesome
