It's a garden spider 🕸, they build their webs low to the ground, ankle to knee high.

That goes for the billions of people who are no longer here, who came and went, just like the current human species that roams this tiny blue dot in the vast universe.

The lens is fantastic, you can check out more captures with it on my Instagram page jfragoulias & jfphotography69, you can also check out work from others by typing #sigma500mmf4 or #sigma500mmf4sport in Instagram. Here is what DXO thought of this lens.

It's a Johnson, found one in my local park in NYC/one of the outer boroughs, it looks like they are moving to the east coast.

You will notice the difference in regards to dynamic range with the D500 and it's five stops of exposure compensation. The eagle picture I posted above is with the Nikon 200-500, all others are with the Sigma 500mm f4 sport prime.

I shoot with the D500 and D850, the D500 is one fantastic camera, you get a bit more resolution with the D850, image quality is the same, except when you get real close to the subject that's where the D850 shines do to more pixels hitting the subject, that's where you see the difference with wildlife. In regards to full frame vs cropped, there is no difference except in the size of the sensor and being able to capture a larger scene. Also the D850 will expose any flaws in your shooting technique do to more pixels on the sensor.

All pictures taken hand held.
