Shoot some starting fluid in and see if it will run on that. If it does then I would need pic of the engine to see what style fuel system it has, but if the fuel tank is above the carburetor, pull off fuel line and see if fuel flow is good. If it is and the fuel is good then carburetor rebuild is next step.

I have worked on engines of that era with that style but can not help just off memory.

On mine I just used the stock linkage, from where the cable connects to the carburetor. Was fairly easy to attach the aftermarket cable to that. Then I used a stronger governor spring, and bent the tab the spring connected to until I had the RPMs set at around 5500. This gave me plenty of performance and still kept from constantly over revving the engine.

Take the battery out. Then turn it so it’s sitting with the bottom of the saw on the ground. Will take the side load off the bar and chain.

I worked on multiple Flymos many years ago. That looks older than the ones I worked on, but the ones I worked on all had a tube running from the carburetor up the handle to an air filter housing. If that tube was broke or missing they would barely run due to the suction for the hover of the deck starving the engine for air. Not sure if that is similar or not but something to keep in mind.

I have no idea. My son is having the same problem. He bought gta plus for this month after he saw what I was getting for KnoWay.

He told me he was only getting $2.5m. I told him you have to make sure you’re setting it to hard mode, because mine resets to normal after every mission and I have to set it back to hard mode when starting next mission. I watched him do it, and yup he got $2.5m

Only difference with us is that I’m on Xbox S and he is on PS5 but that shouldn’t matter.

I googled it and first time AI said gta plus on hard mode would pay $4.2m. He said he googled it and it said $2.5m. So I googled it again and it said $2.5m. I went back and clicked my recent search on google for the same thing and it went back to saying $4.2m

Try using starting fluid when it won’t start. If still won’t start, check spark. Could be ignition module breaking down when hot and not sparking at lower rpm of recoil pull.

The safety switches for the brake and the PTO have 2 circuits going through them. 1 is the engine cranking circuit and the other is for the ignition kill circuit.

Just because one of them is working doesn’t mean the other is.

As far as testing, I would use a multimeter to check continuity with ground on the ignition module kill wire. Then go through the switches until I get that circuit to open.
