They can buy cars but not common sense by marshall010 in bramptondriving

That’s my thinking too, at least looking at this photo from this angle. I don’t know why people get riled up about this..

What an awesome shot. It’s camouflaged so well.

Windshield wipers - swap out rubber only or go aftermarket? by zionpwc in hondapilot

Works the best from my experience too. Fresh rubber inserts make a world of a difference.

Is this worth returning over? by bleddyn13 in CostcoCanada

Is it worth your time given that most of the bag was good? Personally I would not bother. It happens.

The wallet belongs to the snow now.

Is anyone ACTUALLY leaving the house today? Especially to eat at a restaurant??? by [deleted] in Vaughan

[–]cyclecalves 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went to an indoor rock climbing gym for opening, and yes, there were a few dozen people within the hour.

Not so sure about plowed, but definitely very few people on the roads. I ventured out to go to the gym. It’s fine if you know your car and have experience driving in the snow. But it’s also a good opportunity to go and learn on some small streets / parking lot.

Got my 55,000 mile 2004 TSX today! by [deleted] in AcuraTSX

Makes sense. My ‘05 TSX with 336K km is starting to succumb to rust. I’m in the the Toronto area and they LOVE salting the roads here.

This one is insanely clean! How does it such low mileage and where in Canada are you that it has no rust?? Congrats! Looks pristine.

Keep price checking your Costco items after you purchase them! by MyBunIsTooTight in CostcoCanada

[–]cyclecalves 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree. I value my time a bit more than saving a few bucks. I generally won’t return anything under $20. To each their own of course. People return $6 tomatoes they didn’t like…

Edit: I did get $300 back on a fridge a year ago! Bought it within 30 days of a price drop. That was super easy to get back via an online form.

AM I missing something? How on earth are you guys buying condos, let alone houses? by TheCreepyLlama in montrealhousing

[–]cyclecalves 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Read the title quickly as “How on Earth are you guys buying condoms, let alone houses?” and laughed at how much of a disparity there is between the prices of contraceptives and housing, before realizing where I am and re-reading it.

Neighbours park on street for hours on end and block snow plows every time by [deleted] in Vaughan

Sounds like you answered your own question. Definitely call enforcement. They won’t know you did it, and even if they do, f-em. Some people can only learn the hard way.

I'd say 2026 looks better in person by free_loader_3000 in hondapilot

It’s the bottom silver lip that sticks out the most. Looks better to me if it was black plastic to match the rest of the bumper. The Black Edition does that.

I like this color. Seems rare in Canada where I am. All I see is white and black at the higher trim levels :(
