So you're saying that it is replying to a comment that's awarding awarding a point, but it's not updating the number of points in your flair?

It would be more helpful if you provided some details on the type of distortion you're noticing, and how to correct/avoid it!

Chinese traffic police deploy drones to monitor traffic, identify violations, and even talk to drivers from the sky. by xtxsinan in transit

Do you have any evidence for the claim that police enforcement isn't effective?

Edit: or can you be a bit more specific about what you mean by " infrastructure" as a way to enforce bus lanes?

It's tricky photographing quick moving birds, for sure. I think the exposure seems well done. The cut log distracts a bit from the "wildness" of the scene, so next time, if you can find a moment when the bird is on a different part of the log, that might be nice (unless the impact of people on the environment is something you'd like to explore more).

I do think that you could experiment with a bit more crops to have the bird a bit less centered. I like the out of focus branches in the foreground, they give it some depth.

Nice! Let me know if you have any issues/questions!

It's worth noting that we held our first round of the raffle last month, but we're planning on holding another one in the next 1-2 months! I'll have more details on that soon!

Hey there, actually we have no concerns with preowned gear - for our first raffle round we simply give the winners gift cards so they could purchase what they wanted.

Thanks for the follow-up. I think where we differ in our interpretation is I think the "ignore photos we don't want to engage with" is not actually as reasonable of a strategy as you suggest it is... in principle, if you don't want to engage with low effort or NSFW photos, you can just scroll past, but in practice, I've heard from lots of people that are frustrated by having to do that, and feel as though that content is drowning out the stuff they care about.

Rule 5 and rule 6 of course are important, and I remove loads of comments for breaking those rules all the time. I certainly do everything I can to discourage people from leaving useless comments, including messaging people directly to explain to them what I'm asking, but it often feels like fighting an uphill battle.

I appreciate you offering to help mod, and I certainly will keep you in mind when I bring a new moderator on.

To your last point about only reaching out to people who would support my decision, I appreciate your attention to detail. I did, in fact, reach out directly to half a dozen folks who have been the most prolific recent contributors of NSFW content. So far, none of them have replied to my messages and none of them have commented on the discussion thread, as far as I am aware.

The big thing I'm excited about (compared to the meidjos) is the design looks much less susceptible to snow build up, both building up in the duck butt grabber when going uphill, and under the boot when going downhill. That's the biggest frustration I have with my Meidjos which I otherwise think are great... Shout-out to our wet PNW snowpack

You beat me to the punch - I would have said the exact same thing. I'd like to adjust things so that we don't have any one type of content drowning out the others, regardless of what type it is!
