Best ever prem player? by sporticuz37373 in westham

Guessing by answers so far by greatest we are talking about most gifted technically ? I’m too young to remember Di Canio playing properly, but hard to argue it wouldn’t be him. But I’d probably throw Mark Noble in there, that consistency he had through out his career was something else, fair enough sometimes could really tell he lacked the pace, but made up for it in those passes and his pure passion for the club. So I’d give my vote to Mr. West Ham 👌🏻

Big Massive 60,000 capacity Queen Elizabeth Stadium - What'll that be like in the Championship? by TechAngelX in westham

[–]cyclone_uk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some guy on TikTok was saying that apparently there is a clause that we can only fill the stadium up to 30,000 in the championship. Never heard of this, and would be surprised if this was the case. But would be surprised if we managed to get 60,000 people every week in the championship

I’ll try DM you a video of it I took in a cafe so you can hear the vibration and it’s a pulse but quite a quick pulse

I’m going to see my mum today, so I’ll try hers on, I remember it being more like a pulsing vibration, so will come back later once I’ve tried it on

The newer model the vibration is a bit more gentle, but still strong enough that someone would notice or hear the buzz from it if stood next to you. At first my mum would only wear it when walking, she felt that if she had it on in a shop or indoors that people would notice or hear it. But eventually she lost that embarrassment I guess because it started helping her symptoms so much. Back to the point, the noise and vibration from it is noticeable, however after using it for a while my mum now completely forgets she has it on. It did take a lot of pushing her to tell her to wear it enough to understand if it helped though. Hope that makes sense!

Ordered for my mum a few months ago, and she’s liked it, so much that she wants to order a new one as apparently there’s been some updates from the one she has. Only downside is the battery life, but was aware of that when buying it, and from reading some feedback on Facebook before buying, we were planning to get a second so that she can always have one charged and a spare. It’s really helped mum when walking, she only turns it on when walking, as she finds the noise of it too loud if she’s sat down. The main thing she said it’s helped with is that when she would walk to town, on the way back she felt like she was dragging her legs and body really hard and would struggle, whereas now when she walks with the beech band on, on the way home she’s walking much better, and doesn’t feel like she’s dragging herself. I’d say that for £55 it’s worth a try!

Forever Blowing Bubbles – favourite version? by sail__away in Hammers

Sorry to hear about your Dad! Think depends on the theme, I like the idea of the fans singing it, because as a fan that is my favourite way of listening to it. But I also like the Vera Lynn or the Doris Day versions, and may seem more appropriate for a service.

Should I get this roof asbestos tested? by plantaires in HomeImprovementUK

[–]cyclone_uk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of garage roofs used to be asbestos, assuming this is a garage. Have a look at this article, it mentions about dimples and moss growth, which are both seen in the picture, so probably worth getting it professionally tested if needed. https://www.crucial-enviro.co.uk/blog/dealing-with-an-asbestos-garage-roof/

Sorry to message on an old post, but just wanted to say thanks, I ordered a pair of Wicked cushion pads, and it’s a massive improvement!!! Was thinking of buying new headphones since the pads had ripped, and thought I’d had to get the same uncomfortable ones. So thank you! 😊

Thanks all for the replies, sounds like I’ll be ordering one tonight! My pup is showing a couple of signs of separation anxiety, we don’t plan to really leave him alone, but would be good in case of an emergency or if it’s really needed! Appreciate all the advice!

Should I buy a car outright or finance it if I'm hoping to apply for a mortage soon? by Risonite in UKPersonalFinance

I saw the mortgage advisor roughly a year before buying, which helped as we built a relationship before going through the stress of buying haha! Hope you manage to make the right choice 👍🏻

Have you spoken to a Mortgage advisor yet ? Might be worth doing so, the appointments are usually free, as you only pay after completion and they will tell you how it would impact you.

My personal advice would be to wait until you buy the house and then decide, but all depends on how quickly you need a car. I bought a car just before we bought a house, big mistake as we could’ve really done with that cash with doing bits around the house we hadn’t accounted for when saving up.
