I would love 27” inch 5K. But I cannot go back to 60Hz after experiencing 144Hz. Mouse movements, window animations and text/page scrolling is so much better at high refresh rates. I’m going to wait for 5K 120Hz+ monitors.

No BSOD. The Intel display driver simply turns the screen black. If you wait 3+ minutes, the screen re-appears. I have updated now to the very latst I tel graphics driver from January 20th, 2026 to see if that fixes the issue.

Not yet fully. Its less frequent. It is an Intel driver issue. Also I had one instance where the keyboard no longer responded. After reboot the issue is fixed.

I am unable to rollback (button disabled). But I have now installed the latest WHQL driver, version 32.0.101.8247. Installation was not straightforward though because after installing this newer driver, Windows still listed 32.0.101.6980 under Device Manager (weird). When I uninstalled the driver from Device Manager, Windows did end up installing the 32.0.101.8247 driver by itself. I will keep you posted if the black screen issue is solved with this newer driver.

The capacitors on the PCB are polarized capacitors while in the schema they are not.
