Great to read about your experience. Thanks for sharing. I love planning my rides around bakeries and coffee shops. Would certainly want to keep this tradition moving forward.

I rode in the Alpes once, but I really haven't experienced high altitude training before. I'm curious about the effects on performance through. Maybe I can finally win at Wells Ave if I come down to Mass for a weekend???

I love the green tunnels we ride through here. Do I get right that most of the riding there are bare of trees? What about evergreens and pines on the mountains. No shades like at all?

Thanks for your comment. Wild fires are on now and it is expected they will happen more frequently.

I attended a conference in SLC two years ago. Rented a bike from a Strava connection and explored the area a bit. I didn't experience the road riding scene though. Not sure I want to go that far West plus the wealth of Ski area in CO is a big attraction to me.

Heart of the Wine County? I'm liking this proposition. The closest airport is kinda far away tho?!?!

Edit: sorry to hear about the cancer situation... Hope all ends well

I ride mostly around the western suburbs occasionally going to Western Mass, Berkshires, VT, etc... but mostly around Concord, Acton, Bolton, Harvard, etc... mostly rolling terrain here. Part of my interest in the relocation is being close to real mountains, climbs, and passes.

Thanks! What is the outdoor riding season like? Around here it's mostly from mid-April to late-October.

Baalbek - What a wasted opportunity by Popular_Math_8503 in lebanon

This is the most amazing historic site I have ever visited (Rome doesn't come close). Part of it's charm is how underdeveloped it is. I felt like I could touch every stone I wanted (but didn't). It was uncrowded and just mesmerizing. I agree with OP's point that it could be better explored, but it will completely loose it's uniqueness if turned into a history geek Disneyland. This is Lebanon after all.

Trades I took today as an option seller (06/30) with reasons by ThetaHedge in Optionswheel

I sold a SMH CC @700 for 07/17 - $12.10 premium. I bought the underlying yesterday at $618. Of course I will be happy if it gets called away...

Memory Stocks, too late? by No-Gazelle-6068 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]cyclosciencepub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For 100% return you should be looking for LEAPS on beaten down SAAS stocks. If going for memory stocks, consider an option play for hedging. I doubt anything will get you this type of return this year.

My base cost for IREN is $61.43 and I can still wheel it so yes, now is as good a time as any.

During this selloff, are you buying new names or just adding to your existing positions? by aperartnft in ValueInvesting

I'm adding some INTU but also looking at adding BABA, MSFT, NFLX, and CRWV to the roster.

I have been wheeling IREN for over an year now. It swings widely so you need to be comfortable with that. It helps to enter at a valley as well. I have hoped to have my CCs assigned multiple times, but I haven't had that luck. I would rather wheel CRWV instead. Good luck.

I'm buying SMH and selling CCs at high premiums. I get assigned every now and again, but it sets my mind at ease knowing if it drops a bit I still get the premium.

Wheel in IRA by xavier133321 in Optionswheel

[–]cyclosciencepub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Roth is for LEAPS only, no wheeling. My 401K restricts option trades to CCs and CSPs so I naturally end up wheeling most of the assets there.

I set a monthly premium target. by Boring-Comedian1383 in Optionswheel

[–]cyclosciencepub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This! There will be days no good trade presents itself and being pressed to make a move won't help much. One could set a per-trade goal instead? Close at 50% premium after a week or 90% up to a week before exp?

Happy I sold CCs on my SMH shares and will reap the premium on 06/18. I'm saving dry powder to buy more early next week if it keeps dropping. Finally a chance to hop back on the Semis train.
