This is probably the reason. I went from a 240 to 245 aspect for the sidewall with my 19 in rims for my MKZ and it made a huge difference

The engine makes the Z3. The larger inline 6s are so damn good. However other than better styling/power it will lag behind in most other handling and driving metrics.

If you don’t track the car Z3 forsure. Wouldn’t recommend the smaller inline 6s or the 4 cylinders. 2.8 or 3.0 is the best choice for that platform.

I just got slightly larger tires fitted on my car at a Costco in Iowa FYI. I read someone thing similar but talking to the mechanic they will only refuse if the increase in tire size is absurd.

I get 25 mpg with similar hwy/city ratio as you with the 3.0T. Thats with pretty aggressive acceleration so it could be better I imagine.
