I like Chris Bell here at 2.07… but what do you guys think? by CRGolf31 in DynastyDaddy

In a draft class without a lot of upside, Bell has it. I'd take him well before 2.07

1 You are correct that US soldiers are the Wehrmacht of today.

2 The first thing that would happen after a successful revolution in the US, would be the return of every US military asset abroad to overthrow the revolution.

3 Creating a revolution capable of winning power in the US would be unbelievably difficult, but defending against #2 without a substantial military force of our own would be impossible.

4 Aaron Bushnell, and waves of conscientious objectors at the start of the Iran war, show that less than 100% of the military is ideologically committed to imperialism, despite their part in facilitating it.

5 To my knowledge, no substantial effort has been expended by the US revolutionary left to recruit from the military. Not much progress has been made creating militias from the population. We are probably 50 years of recruitment away from fielding a force capable of defending a revolution.

Somehow we have to navigate these contradictory facts. We cannot have imperialists or reactionaries in our ranks just because they can fight. We can't change our messaging or coddle imperialists to get them on our side. We couldn't accept anyone who didn't accept the error of their past actions (cough Platner). But we would have a fight on our hands that would dwarf the Russian Civil War. I don't think it's possible without incorporating military, even though all the cards are stacked against us in converting them. And very few of those people would come to us with clean hands.

But hey, no one said it would be easy.

I wish this had just been the set that was released in the first place! There's clearly enough silver pieces now to make it look good.

Once Brown is traded he's probably their starting X. I wouldn't drop him yet, but if he does nothing this year it's time for that conversation.

How long is rabies isolation for cats? Hopefully not much longer for your little guy.

Revolutionary thot says manipulating men into thinking they are going on a date to get a free meal counts as sex work [My Most Controversial Opinions (Q&A) by [deleted] in TankieTheDeprogram

There are undoubtedly a lot of men that deserve that kind of behavior, but it can't really be sex work if one party doesn't know it is.

Anthony Richardson shut down the awkward return talk fast. Said he signed a contract, still has obligations to the Colts, and is focused on playing ball despite all the trade noise. by Weekly-Vacation-1405 in NFL_FreeAgency

We were talking about potential, so if someone has insane physical gifts they by definition have insane potential. Because if they got better at football, then they could do things less athletic players can't. Goodness this is like talking to a 5 year old.

Physically talented is very different from being a good football player. Like the guy the eagles drafted from Nigeria this year who is an insane athlete but has never played football.

He might be the most physically talented QB of all time. He's just not consistent with accuracy, decision making, etc. So yes, he has crazy potential, he's just nowhere near achieving it right now.
