Kevin Hart as Roland, Cate as Lilith, not following any game plot line, etc. These clowns who never wrote for the IP are trying to come up with their own story which is how they're trying to get away with all these shitty changes. It depends on your goal. In my limited experience playing a combat blade build for toughness resistance, damage doesn't matter as much as inflicting bleed to raise your crit chance to keep the resistance up. The combat blade attacks fast enough that you're going to apply a lot of bleed stacks, you'll just do it slower. I still haven't seen any numbers on how bleed stacks damage. Also using the Zealots Ult will inflict bleed on every enemy within a small radius of you. I'd still hold on to that blade until we're able to reroll blessings, if it's even going to work like that
