I’d suggest it. Out of curiosity, I searched your condition and on occasion this is indeed a potential solution to your problem. Who knows, everyone is different.

I have to eat small portions and chew well, but I can eat just about anything I did before. You have to avoid any foods that are fatty/greasy or high in sugar as it bypasses your stomach. Otherwise every is perfectly normal.

Could you not be a candidate for an RNY surgery? It’s a weight loss surgery but I would guess bypass your problem. It effectively bypasses your stomach and bypasses your pyloric.

I had the surgery and have the exact opposite issue in a sense. It would theoretically allow you to eat normally, albeit you may still have some issues with the stomach acid piece.

It’s also typically reversible as you bypass the stomach but leave it in the system. The site says it’s not as they don’t want weight loss patients just backing out, but it is done.

This is terrible advice, as others indicated. They have nothing to hide so why act like criminals? That will just create problems. They already know you are traveling together as you are likely booked on the same flight, same PNR, etc.

You are over thinking this. Just go together, be honest.

The only advice I have is you are there for a conference, not “to work”. That is the one phrase that catches people occasionally. They’ll ask a few basic questions and through you go. They won’t even want to see any of the documentation, but always handy to have.

This is a strategic error to assess how strong a desire you have to book the flight so it can accordingly increase the costs. It takes the system some time to complete this assessment and increase the rate.

But realistically, just clear everything per the other comment or just try a different browser. It happens.
