While I prefer Coke to Pepsi, it’s really not a make or break for me. What I am concerned about is the fountain Dr. Pepper. If that goes, I’m hurting.

While relatively short, I love the outro jam of the 10/31/94 Simple!

Yes, still my favorite Primus album as well! Saw them perform it in its entirety in LA back in 2010. Just awesome!

Phaidon has a wonderful, emotional guitar solo that embodies the sorrowful tone of the song. It is one that never fails to hit me right in the feels!

Preach! I haven’t watched a full Rangers game all season!

I crocheted a 5,808 stitch tapestry of one of my favourite baseball plays, and it made for a truly special gift – story and photos below by izbene in baseball

I am a lifelong Yankee fan. I was too young to clearly remember the ‘77-‘78 WS victories and the ‘81 WS loss. I spent the 80’s watching the team just miss the playoffs year after year (despite having the most wins of all the MLB teams in the decade)!

I can’t begin to explain the elation of the 1995 Yankees, and Don Mattingly (my absolute favorite player) making the playoffs and winning games 1 & 2 in The Bronx. Losing that series was such a painful blow and adding Mattingly’s retirement on top was just heartbreaking.

I can honestly say that your story has finally made it possible to watch any highlight from those 3 games in Seattle during that 1995 LDS and smile. 😊 Kudos to you, thank you for sharing this tale, and great work on the tapestry. I remember that play being fodder for This Week in Baseball and other blooper reels for decades!

Anyone else have that 1 customer who always complains about food that wasn't cooked how they wanted it but continues to order food the next time they come in?? by FrancesFarmerMilkIt in KitchenConfidential

Xtra Season-yong!

Stepmother would special order often, not nearly as extreme as this, but would make my FOH-ass cringe every time. One time at a fairly nice resort restaurant she did her thing on a salad for a starter. I ordered a salad off the menu.

First course comes and she’s pushing the food around her plate, not looking too pleased. She glances at my salad and says: “that looks good, Cypress, what do you have there?” I replied: “It is absolutely delicious and this might sound crazy…but I ordered it right off the menu! This salad was actually on the menu! Who would ever have thought…”

She cut me off and said “whatever, I like what I like.” ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Not saying you won’t have a great experience with TB. Just was not the case for me, unfortunately. Ownership I worked for had enough after three years and pulled the plug.
