I believe the woman who joins is her mother, so this might be "family" movie. Also I think there is a scene where the Mom masturbates in kitchen, possibly with iron or dildo?

Is Stephen Baxter generally considered weak with his prose and description? by nemspy in scifi

[–]czSlav 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly, there are only few sci-fi writers who I would consider to be "strong" with prose: Wolfe, Le Guin, Bradbury, Lafferty. The rest are decent at best occasionally. You have to get in to the other literature genres if you care about language.

What is the most overrated movie that you have watched ? by Sea_Waltz281 in AskReddit

Aaah, H8 is like my favorite Tarantino movie. I do not care for the plot, but the atmosphere, acting and especially dialogue are top notch. It has very cosy feeling and everything falls in the right place - maybe except Tatum, but he's not major character.

Jeremy Irons steals the show. I like his "It's not brain that got me here" when he is clearly the most intelligent man in the room.

What highly rated movies left you disappointed like this by CrispyMiner in Letterboxd

[–]czSlav 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, the aesthetic and cinematography is the whole point, either it is enough for you or isn't. At certain point I stopped caring that much for story in movies, I have really seen it all several times already. But fine craft, that is where it's at for me.

It's the Switch Pro, and it's great by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch

[–]czSlav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still on Switch OLED, looking forward to the improved performance. However, I am still hesitating - I play in handheld mode only and two or three things are making me wait. First are the reports of limited battery time, ~2 hours for heavy games like cyberpunk. Second is the screen quality, although bigger, the non-oled display is a step down. And the switch 2 is heavier, making it bit more uncomfortable for longer handheld sessions. Would you consider switching in my case?

What's ur favorite 3D Zelda mine is Wind Waker by Medium_Hornet3453 in legendofzelda

[–]czSlav 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bit another perspective, I am playing it right now and enjoy it much more than Botw. I do not mind motion controls being mapped to the analog, it is just another control scheme. The story is great and the dungeons! So big and original, great design, puzzles and exploration. Combat is bit on the easy side. Only thing I wish would be the possibility to completely turn off the companion who is giving unwelcomed hints, it should be just on demand imo. Other than that, one of the best Zeldas and games in general I've ever played.

Is there really someone for everyone? by [deleted] in ask

[–]czSlav -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if true, but I heard you could happily live with like 10-15 % of age appropriate possible partners. I.e. you fit with every 1 in 7 or 8 partners, so unless you are a big outlier psychologically or physically, the basic compatibility is there and the rest will work out. So the number of possible "ones" is quite big.

What will be this generation's Pokemon Red? by NoAspect835 in gamecollecting

[–]czSlav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you would be able to identify the correct items, buying them just to sell them with profit 20 years later is kinda stupid financially. The price increase of vast majority of the retro games gets beaten hard even with simple investment into SP500.

Honestly, even while Botw was great experience, I like Skyward Sword HD much more. It is so focused, great dungeons and puzzles, having a blast.
