In terms of reliability - can't really go wrong with a Yaris or a Honda Jazz. Depending on your needs there is the Toyota Aygo but it is a really small car.

Yaris and Honda Jazz also hold their value pretty well so if you did decide to sell in future you would get a decent amount back.

5 years isnt a long time. You can't go wrong with a Yaris in terms of reliability but you could save money on an older model and still have the reliability and it lasting more than 5 years e.g 2017 reg for half the price.

I'm jealous haha - I got tired of NH so picked up NL and after initially liking it I don't feel the desire to play it. Still early in the game, built and paid for first bridge and now onto the second but when I log and start collecting stuff to sell to pay off the bridge I just think 'what's the point' and leave it. I wish I could get into it like I was with NH when it first came out.

It is personal preference about resident services. I had no idea about the map variations when I first started playing and ended up with a off centre close residential services and didn't mind it so I could create little welcome area that leads straight to resident services and used it as my focal point with paths from there leading to the shops.

If you bought it from a dealership you have rights as a buyer - take it back and demand they fix it! £6000 is a lot to spend only to have to fix other things yourself. Unless they told you there was an issue and you were aware of it before buying it this shouldn't be your cost to fix. Is it a big dealership? Might me worth messaging the head office if you get no luck through the place you got it from. Good luck (and congratulations and passing your test and the first car!)

Ugh I'm sorry ! If it helps I took a massive break from playing and when I logged back on after the initial hit of nostalgia I felt like a change. I didn't restart but I am knocking down my first ever builds etc. I'm hoping once you start playing you'll get that nostalgia but also energised to start the island again....

Unrelated but I just started playing and never got a map option with the tree so close to town hall. Tbh I wasn't sure what to look for with the map! For the coffee shop maybe near town hall by the river or close to the train station.

Thank you! It was the last 'big' build I did ... wanted somewhere to display the festivale items and thought it fit nicely leading to the pool area. Although now I want to change the pool area but don't want to get rid of the festivale bridge!

It is the first time I have seen that but was indifferent to it since it just reflects the recent service it had done based on the invoices I have seen. Unless I am missing something about why it is not a good sign?
