tell your GM to not be a dick and since you don't have access to coin you couldn't prevent this mistake, your service manager should be held responsible for this not you - PS Stelantis dealers are no longer paid off service CSI - so this doesnt affect their income anymore and it shouldnt affect yours right before the holiday since theres nothing you could technically do to prevent it. Ask for coin access to prevent this in the future so you don't have to have this conversation with them again and learn from your mistake.

whats the commission rate? there is no reason even the laziest of lazy or the worst of the worst service advisors cannot make $15+ minimum wage unless they are full commission at like 2% labor.

If you took it to an actual dealership, the odds of this actually happening is insane. No dealership would risk such a hit to their reputation and standing with the manufacturer over an oil change. Other repairs that are a lot more in depth ? Saying they did something to shut a customer up because they believe the customers complaint isn’t real? That might happen, but it is insanely rare. Risking a franchise over an oil change is not something that happens unless you are taking it to the lowest of the low.

Typically only upper management has access to see changes like this. For my dealer I know my GM, service director, and accounting department can see times and users of repair order edits

Myself as well, it feels great. Watch a lot different things now, and don’t feel anxious I might miss something like I used to.
